About the project

The main purpose of the project is to provide users with an easy and convenient tool for doing calculations using only a browser, and also to compile a database of articles with calculations included based on common problems. In some sort - to compile an encyclopedia of Applied Mathematics. Mathete can be called WAS - Web Algebra System, by analogy with CAS systems. Of course Mathete is much easier than any CAS system. Emphasis was placed not on the uniqueness and complexity of mathematical tools, but on easiness and accessibility. Moreover, the development of computational capabilities will continually grow - in the nearest future: complex numbers, more matrices and statistics functions, symbolic computations, etc.
